Read MoreMiddle and high school students came together to celebrate Pi Day (3/14) with a special chapel assembly full of creativity and humor. Each grade level was challenged to design and perform an original skit lasting no more than 3 minutes and 14 seconds.
The results were both educational and entertaining!
Read MoreOur students are powering up their understanding of energy—literally! This week they explored wind energy by designing and testing their own wind turbines. Each group built two different turbine models, then used the wind to lift a small mass and timed how long it took to raise it to a set height.
Read MoreMiddle school students have been busy exploring science through hands-on experiments and creative design projects.
During our unit on water and its properties, students investigated the science behind water parks. We discussed concepts like buoyancy, gravity, friction, currents, potential energy, and kinetic energy, as well as the importance of thoughtful design and water conservation. After learning the science, students worked in pairs to design and name their own water slides. The final challenge was putting their designs to the test by adding water and sending ten marbles down the slides—making sure they stayed on course and didn’t collide at the bottom. It was a fun way to see real science principles in action!
Read MoreOur Mini Golf Mania event was a wonderful success this year! A huge thank you to all the students, parents, teachers, and volunteers who came out to help make the day so special.
One of the highlights of the event was the incredible creativity displayed in the mini golf holes. Each of the nine uniquely themed holes was designed and built with care, imagination, and lots of fun details. As families made their way through the course, we heard so many excited comments and impressed reactions!

Read MoreOur biology students are diving into genetics in the most delightfully spud‑tacular way—by creating “spudoodles”! This annual favorite turns inheritance patterns into hands‑on fun. Students start by randomly selecting alleles to determine each trait’s phenotype, then team up to “cross” their DNA and discover what kind of little spud their pairing will produce.

Read MoreWe have had so much fun at Kingdom Builders: LEGO Club over the past couple weeks. It has been amazing to see students of varying ages and building abilities come together to create, share, and have fun. Last week’s theme was “Build & Tell,” a free-build challenge where students could build anything that gives a glimpse into "them"—and the creativity was incredible!
Read MoreOur middle school science class recently turned the classroom into a mini engineering lab as students explored the physics of water flow in the most hands-on way possible—by building their own waterslides! Using paper towel rolls, boxes, and other paper goods, students designed, tested, and tweaked their creations to see how water moves, speeds up, and changes direction.
