Partner Grades Explore our Theme

Our first LEVEL UP Theme Day of the year had every student involved! Our K-12 combined chapel began with the HS Praise Team leading a fun and engaging song that had everyone out of their seats and clapping. We then split into our partner grades to explore how we can LEVEL UP this year. Each set of partners was assigned one virtue from 1 Peter: goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly love, and love. Students discussed ways that we can grow in the virtue. They then listed those ways on a slip of paper and prayed for God’s help to implement these goals this year. Finally, the slips of paper were joined together in a chain. When we returned for a final worship song all the chains were joined together and attached to our anchor - Jesus. Mr. H, our HS Bible Teacher and Chaplain, shared a brief message that tied it all together. This chain has been hung in our gymnasium where it can be a reminder to all of us this year.
