Mini Golf Mania Success!
CCS kicked off our weeklong virtual silent auction with our second annual Mini Golf Mania on Saturday, February 24! We enjoyed fellowshipping with both new and old friends as our families enjoyed nine rounds of mini golf in our elementary classrooms. Our golf fairways and obstacles were designed by several Cornerstone families, students, and faculty/staff members. Families were also able to preview silent auction items and enjoy bake sale goodies in our golf clubhouse. Our two special guests, our rockin’ dino friends, were a big hit with kids and adults alike!
We held two golf design contests, with ties for both categories. The Sulik family tied for best overall design with their Winter Wonderland theme, along with the Carmen/Malaver and Moncada/Vargas families with their Lego theme. The two families who tied for having the best obstacle were the Sangster family with their excavation obstacle, as well as the Evans family with their challenging platform fairway. Thank you to all nine fairway and obstacle designers for serving CCS through your creativity! Each of the winning families will receive a $15 gift card.
We also held two drawings from among the submitted family information cards. The first drawing included families with a connection to Cornerstone. The second drawing was from among new friends who came to our event. The Faria family won the first drawing, with the Norton family winning the second drawing. Each of these two families will also receive a $15 gift card.
We are still looking for families, businesses, and ministries who would like to sponsor our inaugural yearbook supplement. Our supplement will capture photos of Cornerstone events and activities that take place after the submission deadline for the regular yearbook. This is a great way to congratulate your special CCS graduate or promoting student! Click here to see the revised flyer for yearbook supplement sponsorships.
