But My Teacher Said......
We think this story from a Cornerstone parent speaks directly to the heart of our mission!

"But Miss Jordan told me..." or "Miss Jordan said.."
If you have a young child in school, you may hear something similar!
At one point this year Rachael-Lynn came home and was EAGER to brush her teeth (normally a fight) because Miss Jordan said to brush them twice a day!
Today, on the last day of school, I was reflecting on Rachael's first three years at CCS. This story came to mind, and the weight of it hit me hard.
Each day I share my treasure with another adult for 7 hours! In Rachael's young eyes, the teacher is an authority, a source of truth and knowledge.
Because, "Miss Jordan says...." and that holds weight.
THIS is why Rachael-Lynn is at Cornerstone. This is Christian education for us -- that I can trust that what she hears from her teacher will align with our faith and values.
THANK YOU Maggie Jordan for 2 (yes two) amazing years of K-Prep. (And thank you Ana Snellenberger for Preschool!) I know without a shadow of a doubt that every day Rachael-Lynn was welcomed with a smile, a hug, and so much love. You have planted seeds of confidence, value, love, and so much more in her young heart!
I look forward to officially starting Kindergarten - and can rest assured that Sarah Cane Weymer will love her just as much. And, when I hear "But Mrs. Weymer says...." I don't have to hold my breath
THANK YOU for partnering with our family, ladies!
