Welcome to Our Newest Cornerstone Lions
We are thrilled to announce the addition of these CCS Lions to the Cornerstone Faculty!
Grade 1 Classroom Teacher & Part-Time Faculty Development Administrator
We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Charity-Ann Baker, Ed.D.! You may know her as a CCS parent and this year's CCS PTFA secretary. In her new role, Doctor Baker looks forward to returning to the classroom of her favorite grade level, Grade 1!
She has extensive experience as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and college professor responsible for training the next generation of teachers. She can’t wait to get back to her educational roots and heart’s passion — teaching in a Grade 1 classroom! She is excited to use her gifts and experiences to further the mission of Christian education.
In addition to serving as Cornerstone's Grade 1 Classroom Teacher, she will join our administration as the Faculty Development Administrator. We look forward to how her professional experience and leadership will bless our students and faculty! (Pssst...if you see her around campus, please be sure to congratulate her on her recent graduation as a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership!)
Grade 3 Classroom Teacher
We are delighted to welcome Miss Annika Christopherson as our new Grade 3 Classroom Teacher! Miss Christopherson recently completed her Master of Science in Early Childhood Education at Eastern Connecticut State University. (Congratulations!)
She is passionate about teaching in a way that engages students and inspires them to become lifelong learners. We look forward to how God will use Miss Christopherson's gifts and experience to bless our Grade 3 students in the fall!
Middle School Social Studies Teacher
We are excited to welcome Mr. Ed Campolongo back to Cornerstone as our Middle School Social Studies Teacher! Mr. Campolongo previously served Cornerstone for 15 years in a variety of positions, including teaching history, Bible, and Greek; and as our Secondary Level Principal and Headmaster. After serving as a principal at another Christian school in Massachusetts, "Mr. C" looks forward to returning to the classroom full-time! He brings a love for the Lord, students, and history. We look forward to how his experience, engaging teaching style, and wealth of leadership experiences will bless our middle school students and team.
We are so grateful for God's faithful provision!
